Executive Officer to the Advisory Board

Danielle has lived in Las Vegas for the past 9 years. Originally from North Carolina, Danielle came to Las Vegas through Teach For America as a corps member in 2012. She spent five years teaching Kindergarten in the Clark County School District. In 2017, Danielle worked for Teach For America Baltimore's fundraising team where she raised more than 3.3 million dollars in donor gifts. Currently, as Teach For America Las Vegas’s Director of Alumni, Danielle is considered the “LinkedIn” for the region- she connects everyone to opportunities and pathways for professional development.

She received her B.A. in Psychology from NC State, her M.Ed from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and her Ed.S from NOVA Southeastern. Her community leadership includes service as a board member with the Young Non-Profit Professional Network of Southern Nevada, as a volunteer with Leaders in Training and Candlelighters Nevada, as a content contributor to APIA Vote and the Asian Community Development Council, as a 2021 Jameson Fellow, and as a dancer with The Body Babes Las Vegas. In her free time, Danielle loves working out, baking, and spending time with her family. You can usually find Danielle downtown with her signature fanny pack and headband.
